BANDCAMP

Since the summer of 2020, all our releases have also been made available on our official Bandcamp page.

Initially we uploaded all our digital back catalogue there made available to download either as individual tracks or entire products, and will develop that over time to include all formats. Click HERE to see what is available

We also assisted with the setting up of brand new Artist Pages at their request. Click on the artist names Tru Trilla, Phoenix da Icefire & Az Izz to visit their pages direct. They are set up in such a way that fans of their music are able to contact the artists directly, and of course all their social media links are embedded on their main pages and on the icons of their pages’ headers so you have various ways to connect.

All future digital releases will be added to our official Bandcamp page in addition to the other wide array of platforms and stores including Beatport, Tidal, Spotify, Apple, Amazon, Deezer & Napster.

A reminder that all our releases are available to stream on Spotify, split into playlists per artist on our SPOTIFY PAGE

Thanks to Bandcamp’s Head of Label and Artist Representation for the support provided in setting this up. Here’s a small selection of the albums available there :

Nominated for “Best Independent Album” at this year’s AIM Awards, “Panacea” by London rapper / producer duo Phoenix da Icefire & Husky Brown.  A phenomenal piece of work incorporating hip hop, r&b, soul, electro, bass & dub as the music backdrop to a narrative addressing the environment, social justice, racism, mental health, well being and many of the most pressing issues facing society today.

New Jersey verbal assassin Tru Trilla brought the noise on his new album “God of Barz”, packed full of raw energy and bangin beats supplied by Chicago’s DNA Beatz, Barcelona’s Sumerio Square, the UK’s Chat One and Jamal Nueve (Clinton Place) originally of Newark and now resident in LA. Featured artists Prince Ak, Middy Murdock, Confucious and Fly Kwa cranked up the intensity even further for an album bursting at the seams with fierce rhymes, lyricism, hard hittin beats and turntablism. An absolute “must have” for the hip hop heads

It was a long awaited return to the hip hop fold for rapper and producer Az Izz of the legendary New Jersey crew The Outsidaz who at one time counted Rah Digga, Pacewon, Young Zee, Slang Ton and D.U. in their numbers, particularly noted for their work with Wu Tang, The Fugees and a new emerging group from Detroit, D12. Largely self produced, “Dopeliss” mixes the sounds of the old to the new, boom bap with electro bangers all with Az’s trademark quirky rhyme schemes laced with humour and intensity in equal measure. Featured artists include several of his fellow group members and other Newark natives including Drift, with further production by Qua Z Mo, DJ Profluent and DJ 3rdRell

A classic from the vaults, “18 Showdown”, a compilation of all the remixes provided by legendary UK DMC finalst, turntablist and II Tone Committee producer DJ Krash Slaughta for hip hop crew Belles in Monica. Originally all released on vinyl with a further hidden gem unearthed and included, the renowned mix of beat juggling, scratching, and experimental sounds are all in evidence here. Extremely rare and one for the hip hop purists, this EP was the fourth in the label’s re-launch series which included Belles in Monica’s “Y’All in Meltdown” and “Natsukashii” which themselves include many of the crew’s classic joints “Y’All Under Surveillance”, “Meltdown”, “Skitzophonetic”, “Hip Hop” and “Resistance is Futile”, all of which has also been made available on Bandcamp

A unique and extremely rare piece of musical hip hop history, Underground Cartel was the brainchild of Belles in Monica producer Kruze, designed to unite the four corners of the hip hop world with a collaboration of male and female rappers standing shoulder to shoulder, each performing in their native tongues. The “Sapientia” EP does just that, the featured artists being from the States, Swiss Precise (Long Beach, Blown Celeb, KBH, Halfway House Emcees), The Yukonn MC (Boston), Black Market (Virginia), Crazy Ballhead aka Mr Hooper (Sacramento), Tone Rome (Baltimore), Lockness (NYC) and Brandon J Atlas (Des Moins). From the UK there is current Rapstation presenter and rapper Mr CRF together with London’s Creamo, with a European contingent made up of the late great Primo Brown of Italian crew Cor Veleno, Madrid’s El Meswy now resident in Brooklyn, Beni Blanco of French group Originaire du Sud, Bleek Wonder (Holland), Magellano (Croatia), Grizu (Germany), Marya (Italy)….and the African continent is also represented in the shape of Zimbabwe’s Dumi Right
