Underground Cartel was the brainchild of producer Kruze, bringing together international male and female MC’s to represent the true spirit of global hip hop culture and showcasing the immense talent which exists in these countries.
With the mandate that all perform in their native tongues, the originality of the concept produced a highly eclectic sound. Artists from the USA, Canada, UK, France, Spain, Croatia, Germany, Holland, Africa and more all contributed.
Although a short lived project with only the “Dropzone” EP being released in 2004, many more previously unreleased recordings were discovered this year resulting in the new “Sapientia” EP
Featured artists include Swiss Precise (KBH), Yukonn MC, El Meswy, Beni Blanco (Originaires du Sud), Magellano, Dumi Right, Lockness, Black Market, Mr CRF (Rapstation) and the late, great Primo Brown (Cor Veleno)
