Our first official release of 2020 is out today.

The new single “Warzone” by Brick City’s lyrical assassin Tru Trilla features long term affiliate Fly Kwa and fellow 050 Boyz member RIQ, produced by another New Jersey native Joey Loax.

Taken from “The Seymour Chronicles EP” out on March 17th, the prequel to his album “God of Barz” we release on May 29th, as expected all go high on the verbal ballistics scale, with Joey’s production delivering the classic hip hop sound of the east coast.

New Dawn Records are proud to announce the release of two upcoming projects by Brick City’s lyrical marksman Tru Trilla in 2020.

“The Seymour Chronicles EP” out on March 17th is the precursor for his incredible new album “God of Barz” which drops May 29th.

Our in house promotional division UrbanElite PR worked with Tru previously in 2015 when as part of 050 Boyz they released the classic album “Everything 050” resulting in worldwide media coverage and live appearances on Sirius XM as guests of DJ Eclipse and DJ Premier.

The crew’s Prince Ak and RIQ together with regular affiliate Fly Kwa make guest appearances on the new EP which as you’d expect is packed with fierce rhymes, hooklines and hard bars with all delivering high on the verbal ballistics scale. Entirely produced by another New Jersey native Joey Loax, it represents the classic sound of the east coast and serves a tasty appetizer for the main course in May.

As a label, we relish the prospect of working with an artist of Tru’s caliber and style which represents perfectly our direction of travel as we enter an exciting new phase since re-launching last year.
