Here Ramson returns to mic duties alongside fellow London rappers Phoenix da Icefire (ex Triple Darkness) and Cyclonious, all cutting a swathe through fallen kingpins and street tyrants in a barrage of heavy verbal artillery.
On the specially commissioned remix they are joined by renowned UK rapper Genesis Elijah. Produced by Frost Gamble, originally of NY State and now operating out of Canada, the combination of highest calibre beats and rhymes makes this an authentic killer cut.

New Dawn Records are delighted to announce the release of the fantastic new album “Dopeliss” by Brick City rapper & producer Az Izz, formerly of the legendary New Jersey group The Outsidaz.
Together with Pace Won, Young Zee, Rah Digga and D.U., the Brick City crew were noted for their work with The Fugees, Wu Tang and a new emerging force from Detroit, D12. More recently pursuing a career in tv, film and sports music production, Az has returned to the hip hop fold with his first major solo album in several years.
Largely self produced with additional contributions by Qua Z Mo, DJ 3rdRell and DJ Profluent, the guest featured artists include several of his fellow former group members and further luminaries from the local independent scene including Drift, Rube the Difference and Jaja Kenyatta.
From boom bap to hard driving electronic beats, the production maps the evolution of the east coast sound underpinned lyrically by the traditional art of storytelling, street life, aspirations and struggles. Back in the game with another flag planted for the Garden State, it’s a diverse and engaging release for hip hop heads across the board.

Shortly after releasing his new album “God of Barz”, Brick City rapper Tru Trilla spoke with Angelo Gingerelli for US online “The Pop Break” as part of their regular NJ Next interview series.
In the feature just published this week, the Newark native discusses his early days in hip hop, the construction of the new album which includes international production, his new upcoming projects and lists his top MCs, producers and live spots in New Jersey.
Coincidentally, Tru Trilla released the first video from the album during the week. “Real Rap”, produced by Barcelona’s Sumerio Square, also features fellow 050 Boyz group member Prince Ak and was shot in downtown Newark towards the end of 2019 and obviously prior to the impact of the Covid 19 pandemic. Just as with the Phoenix da Icefire and Husky Brown album “Panacea” we released earlier this month, it is music of this caliber that played a major role in our decision to re-launch the label last year, and in Tru’s case not only does he plant a flag for the Garden State but also for the classic sound of eastcoast hip hop.
Unsurprisingly, his singles “Word of God”, “God’s Sympathy” and “God’s Mercy” enjoyed a fantastic reception by onlines and radio DJ’s worldwide, appreciative of the quality of lyricism and production on offer, a throwback to the days when hip hop really did bring the noise and had something to say.
On the album, Newark natives Middy Murdock, Fly Kwa, Confucious and fellow 050 Boyz group member Prince Ak intensify the energy with their own gritty rhymes.The production brings extra layers and dynamics courtesy of Chicago’s DNA Beatz, Barcelona’s Sumerio Square, the UK’s Chat One and award winning Clinton Place (aka Jamal Nueve), originally of New Jersey and now resident in Los Angeles.
